The Very Hungry Caterpillar (Eric Carle)

Hands down, one of the most enjoyable children's books out there in the history of children's books! The illustrations and colors make the book inviting to young children. The repetition and simple story line encourage children to follow along as well as build's suspense! This book offers several conversations starters on a variety of topics as well as opens up a world of different lesson plans. This is truly a classic and my favorite children's book.

  2. Tasha,
I read the Very Hungry Caterpillar book to a group of Kindergarten students for one of my first education classes:Kiddie Lit. I was so nervous! I'll never forget it but I loved it.
Your blog is beautiful and I love your quotes.
